I admit that I was hesitant at first since I have tried other electric toothbrushes and I could not see or feel a difference. With this one, however, I am liking the results. I no longer have the white build up between the lower teeth and gums and when I run my tongue across my teeth they feel smooth.
It did take me at least 2 days to get the hang of it. My wife told me to stop “brushing” and let the toothbrush do the work. It also took about 2-3 days to work up a tolerance to the sensitivity of the vibration when I brushed the back of the two top teeth.
I like that it comes with 8 total heads and if you replace them every 3 months as recommended by dentists, this one pack will last a full 2 years.
I also like that it pauses 4 times about every 30 seconds for a total of about 2 minutes. The pauses let me know to move to the next section (4 sections total).
It has a total of 5 settings but I only use the “clean” setting. It also remembers the last setting you used so you don’t need to change it every time you brush. The battery lasts a long time. Haven’t charged it in at least 2 weeks. It’s sleek, lightweight and easy to hold.
Overall, I think the phylian sonic electric toothbrush is worth it and would recommend it.
